The exhibition catalogue for ‘The Magic Pencil’ by Nihaal Faizal, curated by Ben Broome and Olamiju Fajemisin, at 44 Great Russell Street, London. The catalogue features documentation of the works ‘The Magic Pencil’ (2020/2025) and ‘Toi-Toys’ (2019), alongside the curatorial essay and a text by Faizal that lists every drawing made over the course of 450 episodes of the popular Indian TV show ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’ (2002–2004).
Designed by the artist as a set of 25 cards, copy-edited by Olamiju Fajemisin, and printed in an edition of 200 copies.
